The three of us
Hi, welcome to our photo blog. We are a multicultural multiethnic family (♀ from Liquiçá – East Timor and ♂ from Ílhavo – Portugal) and at the moment we are living in Ílhavo. We are not photographers; we’re just a couple who owns a camera. Anyway, we hope you like our pictures…

Bicycles

You will see lots of bicycles in this photoblog. There’s a reason for that. Ílhavo has arguably been the bicycle capital of Portugal for generations, even though its vibrant bicycle culture is now somewhat threatened by consumerism and lack of attention from local politicians. We’ll try to document this folk culture and, hopefully, maybe we can persuade a few readers to leave their cars at home and ride their bikes again…
